Welcome to the Electronics Class Blog!

Hi fellow students!
this is a resource center for us to share ideas and knowledge. Feel free to post anything you wish to share with the group. All class members are welcome to join the group.

People who are not part of the group are not able to post messages, but they are able to comment on any postings made. So be aware that this is a public site, and anyone in the world might reply to your message(s).

To get started, here is a site I found that teaches the colour codes for resistors:

Resistor Codes

I have used a Blogger template to get us off the ground and started, but it will be customised as time goes by...

Also, I am British, so I thought you'd like to know that the term for 'grounding' in the UK (and other parts of the world) is 'earthing'. So if you want to know if something is 'grounded' you would ask if it is 'earthed' in the UK. Like Prof Fortich says, the more ways you know how to say something, the more 'professional' you are.
