Electronics 4 Life :::

This week we've concentrated on telecommunications. It started on Monday, when grad student Jim Winstead visited and gave us a little lecture. He spoke of his Ham radio exploits, and the of the work he does at Lockheed. The next day Parker (back from his wedding over the weekend!) started a long 2-3 day lecture on how radio transmission and transceivers work. Today he came full circle and we are back into how an Amplifier works. In the afternoon, he built and tested the amp that he had previously lectured to us.
